Using Social Media to Excel as a Scientist - GWIS Distinguished Speaker Lunche

We are pleased to invite everyone to the GWIS (Graduate Women in Science) September Distinguished Speaker Luncheon: "Using Social Media to Excel as a Scientist".

We will be joined by Dr. Kiana Frank (Assistant Research Professor, PBRC), Dr. Piper Harron (Temporary Assistant Professor, Dept. of Math), and Sam Mitchell (4th-year SOEST Ph.D. student, Dept. of Geology & Geophysics) who will discuss their approaches to social media via YouTube, blogging, Instagram, and beyond.

A catered lunch will be provided to the first 25 attendees who reserve their spots, so Please send all questions or comments regarding dietary restrictions to hawaii@gwis.org. All are welcome to join and bring their own "brown bag" lunch.
