The Center for Indo-Pacific Affairs presents āThe Blue Pacific Continent: Striving for 'Real' Influence in the Indo-Pacificā held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 3:00ā4:00 PM HST in 258 Moore Hall. Our guest speaker, Sione Tekiteki (Auckland University of Technology & PIF Secretariat), argues that while the Blue Pacific narrative and 2050 Strategy emphasize regional unity and agency, achieving these goals depends on Pacific nations overcoming historical vulnerabilities and eroding global systems by fostering collective political will rooted in shared Pacific values.
